In the privacy policy, “you” or “your” refers to the person using our service and “we”, “us,” “our,” “Alurts,” or the “Company” means Alurts and its affiliates.
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any material changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on our Site.
If you reside outside the U.S., your personally identifiable information will be transferred to the U.S., processed and stored under U.S. privacy standards. By using Alurts’ Service and providing information to us, you consent to such transfer to, and processing in, the U.S.
We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the App. By using the App and related Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection And Use.
While using our App, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, email or phone number (“Personal Information”).
Log Data
We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our App through use of “cookies”. We do not use cookies to collect any personally identifiable information but are used to understand how you interact with our Service, Website and App. We also use cookie technology to monitor aggregate usage by our users and web traffic routing on the Service, and to improve the Service. Alurts, in addition, may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze your usage with Alurts’ web properties.
Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. You can instruct your browser, by editing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit.
The logged data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our App that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
Communications
We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that will allow you to have a better experience with our Service and App.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, including, without limitation, hosting and maintenance. We will share your personally identifiable information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services.
In addition, we may use information you provide about Third-Party Services to provide the Service, which may include accessing the Third-Party Services you select on your behalf, so that we can present the requested information to you. With respect to mobile applications or mobile versions of our Sites, we may collect the unique device identifier assigned to that device by phone makers, carriers, or makers of the operating system (the “Device ID”). Device IDs allow app developers, advertisers, and others to uniquely identify your device for purposes of storing application preferences and other data.
We may use your Device ID for security purposes. For example, if you have activated a feature that limits access to a Service from a specific device, our systems will access the Device ID from each device you attempt to access the Service with to determine if the device is the specific authorized device. Additionally, we may use Device IDs to monitor suspicious activity. For example, if we detect that a single account on a Site is being accessed from multiple devices, as determined by tracking the Device IDs that access an account, we may contact the user to ensure that such access has been authorized by the user.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
